Jorg Gray announced yesterday the official debut of its U.S. line of branded luxury timepieces at JCK Las Vegas. The collection of 140 men's and ladies' watches that was successfully launched at Baselworld earlier this year will premier at the major industry event May 30 through June 2.
"The Jorg Gray line has received an overwhelming international response since Baselworld and we're seeing a growing demand across Asia, the United Kingdom and Latin America," said Trevor Gnesin, president of Jorg Gray, in a statement. "JCK Las Vegas is the ideal location to formally introduce Jorg Gray to America, the watch industry and leading U.S. distributors.”
Jorg Gray's line includes a commemorative timepiece to President Obama of its 6500 Chronograph watch. The 44th President first donned the 6500 model after he received it as a birthday present in August 2007 from his Secret Service detail, and has since continued to wear the timepiece at such events as his inauguration and the G-20 Summit.
The solid steel Commemorative Edition luxury watch features a sleek black face with silver accents, scratch-resistant mineral crystal and a buffalo-leather wrist strap. Each watch is laser-engraved with a dedicated inscription to the President on the back case and includes an individualized serial number. The timepiece is available in both men's and women's styles for $325.
Jorg Gray was founded as a private-label American specialty watch company in 1988 and has since expanded to become a globally recognized brand. Jorg Gray products feature Japanese precision movement, steel cases and scratch-resistant lenses. Watches retail from $275 and $500 and are available for purchase at www.jorggray.com.
